چکیده:
The main objective of this paper is prediction of the high frequency diffuse field transmission loss through double-panel sound barriers with elastic porous linings within Statistical Energy Analysis (SEA) method. In this study, firstly, we are going to predict an analytical model on sound transmission through a double-panel with a porous liner of infinite extents. Therefore, the equations governing wave propagation in an elasticporous material are considered briefly and the general forms for the stresses and displacements within the porous material are given. These solutions are expressed in terms of a number of constants that can be determined by application of appropriate boundary conditions. The boundary conditions required to model double panels have linings that are either directly attached to the facing panels. Secondly, the development of acoustical modeling of the double panels lined with elastic porous media by the use of the SEA method is explained. In this method by decomposing double-panel system into three simple subsystems and solving power flow equations between three subsystems, the sound transmission loss is calculated using AutoSEA2 software. The results from the SEA model are compared with those of experimental and analytical predictions and good agreement is observed. Finally, the influence of effective parameters of this structure on the transmission loss of the multilayer systems is studied. The results show that the material parameters principally related to the solid phase of the foam have the most effects on the Transmission Loss.
